How to Create a PNR in Galileo

reating a Passenger Name Record (PNR) in Galileo follows a logical sequence of commands to book flights, enter passenger details, and finalize the reservation.
Below is an example showing how to create a complete PNR for a journey from Cairo (CAI) to Sharjah (SHJ) on EgyptAir.


Step 1: Search for Flight Availability

This command displays available flights from Cairo to Sharjah on 24 September using EgyptAir as the preferred airline.


Step 2: Sell Seats

N2Y1

This entry sells two seats in Y class (Economy) on line number 1 from the availability list.


Step 3: Add Passenger Names

When entering passenger names in Galileo, always use the format LASTNAME/FIRSTNAME with no spaces before or after the slash.

Adult Passenger:

N.HAMED/MAHMOUD MR

Adds an adult passenger named MAHMOUD HAMED.

Infant:

N.I/HAMED/ESRAA MISS*16MAY25

Adds an infant passenger named ESRAA HAMED .

Child:

N.HAMED/MAHMOUD*P-C08

Adds a child passenger named MAHMOUD HAMED with age 8 years.


Step 4: Add Contact Information

Adds the agency phone number and email address to the booking for communication and ticket delivery.


Step 5: Add Ticketing Instruction

Indicates that tickets have been issued.
No queue placement is required, meaning the booking is confirmed and ticketed.


Step 6: End and Save the Booking

ER
  • R.PAX means “Received From Passenger”.
  • ER ends and saves the PNR in Galileo.
