Quick Presets

The Galileo FQP command — known as Fare Quote Planner — is one of the most used pricing entries in Travelport Galileo. It returns an informative quote for an unbooked itinerary, showing fare, taxes and total price without creating a PNR. This free Galileo FQP builder helps travel agents construct the correct cryptic syntax in seconds.

What is the Galileo FQP Command?

FQP stands for Fare Quote Planner in the Galileo (Travelport) system. Unlike FXX or FQN, the FQP command only displays the price — it does not store anything in the PNR and does not affect the ticketing queue.

Galileo FQP is the go-to command for manual reissues, refund calculations and pre-sale price comparisons because it lets you reconstruct the original pricing conditions — including historical ticketing and booking dates — with a single entry.

There are two main variants:

  • FQP — Informative quote. Returns up to 10 responses.
  • FQQ — Lowest possible informative quote. Returns only the cheapest option.
Pro tip: Use airport codes (e.g. LHR, CAI) instead of city codes to include airport taxes in the quote.

Galileo FQP Command Syntax

The general structure is:

Galileo FQP in Refund and Reissue Workflows

In manual reissues and refund calculations, agents must reproduce the original fare conditions. The Galileo FQP command supports this through two historical-date options:

  • .T<date> — Historical ticketing date
  • .B<date> — Historical booking date

Both can be combined, e.g. .B15NOV25.T22NOV25. Galileo allows historical dates up to two years in the past.

Galileo FQP vs Amadeus FQP

  • Galileo: uses . for class, + for carrier, /C for plating, .T / .B for historical dates, @ for specials.
  • Amadeus: uses /C for class, /A for airline, /R for overrides (date of issue, POS, currency).

The underlying goal is the same — display a fare quote without touching the PNR — but the syntax is completely different. This builder handles the Galileo format.
