Every certificate issued by GDS Hub carries a unique number, an issue date, and a recorded score. This page is where certificate holders access their certificates, and where the details employers need to check are explained.
What a GDS Hub Certificate Is — and Isn’t
A GDS Hub certificate is an educational record. It confirms that a named person passed one of our simulation exams — Amadeus Basics or Amadeus Advanced — at a recorded score, on a recorded date. It is issued by our platform, not by Amadeus IT Group or any of the GDS providers, and it says so clearly on the certificate itself.
What it is not: it is not an official IATA or Amadeus certification. It is not recognised by any airline or GDS vendor as a formal accreditation. What it does demonstrate — honestly and verifiably — is that the holder has passed a hands-on exam inside a live GDS terminal simulator, covering the workflows an entry-level or advanced travel agent handles daily.
What Appears on a Certificate
Every GDS Hub certificate contains the same set of identifying fields. An employer checking a certificate should expect to see all of these; a certificate missing any of them has been altered or is not genuine.
Full name
The name as registered on the candidate’s GDS Hub account at the time the exam was taken.
Exam name
Either “Amadeus Beginner Assessment” or “Amadeus Advanced Assessment”. Each is issued as a separate certificate.
Score and status
A percentage score, plus a pass status: PASS or PASS WITH DISTINCTION.
Certificate number
A unique identifier in the format AMD-YYYY-XXXXX. This is the number an employer uses to reference the certificate.
Issue date
The day the certificate was generated — the same day the exam was submitted and passed.
Official portal
The address of the issuing platform — www.gdshub.pro — printed on every certificate.
How to Verify a Certificate
The verification path depends on who you are. Certificate holders access their own certificates directly. Employers check a candidate’s certificate by requesting a copy and cross-checking the fields above.
Access your own certificates
If you have taken a GDS Hub exam, every certificate you have earned is stored on your account. Log in below and the list appears automatically.
- Log in with the email address you used to take the exam.
- Your certificates appear in a list, newest first.
- Click View Certificate on any entry to open it as a printable page.
- Use Print / Save as PDF to keep a copy or send to an employer.
Check a candidate’s certificate
There is no public lookup tool — GDS Hub certificates are not exposed to anonymous queries. To verify one, follow these steps:
- Ask the candidate to send you the certificate PDF directly from their account.
- Confirm the certificate number format matches
AMD-YYYY-XXXXX. - Confirm the exam name is one of the two we issue: Beginner or Advanced.
- If you need to confirm authenticity, contact us with the certificate number and holder name.
Why no public lookup? Exposing a search box that accepts any certificate number would allow bulk scanning of candidate records. We deliberately keep verification gated — either behind the holder’s own login, or through direct contact with our team. This protects the people who hold our certificates.
How to Retrieve a Certificate You’ve Earned
If you have passed an exam but cannot find your certificate, these four steps almost always resolve it.
-
Log in with the exact email you used for the exam
Certificates are tied to the email address on the account at the time the exam was submitted. If you took the exam with a different address, the certificate will not appear here.
-
Confirm you actually passed
A certificate is only generated when your score meets the pass mark. If you failed, no certificate is issued — but you can retake the exam at any time from the Basics or Advanced exam page.
-
Check for a second account
The most common cause of “missing” certificates is having registered twice with different emails. If you think this has happened, contact us and we can merge the records.
-
Print or save before your session ends
Certificates remain in your account permanently, but if you want a physical or PDF copy, use the print button on the certificate page. Your browser’s “Save as PDF” option produces a print-ready file suitable for emailing to an employer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I verify a certificate without logging in?
No. GDS Hub does not offer anonymous certificate lookups. If you are the certificate holder, log in to view it. If you are an employer, ask the candidate to send you the PDF, and contact us if you need to confirm authenticity directly.
Is my certificate still valid if I change my email?
Yes. The certificate is tied to the account it was issued on, not the email address itself. As long as you can still log in to that account, your certificate remains accessible. If you have lost access, contact us with your name, certificate number, and exam date.
How long does a certificate remain on my account?
Permanently. We do not expire certificates and do not remove them from accounts. Even if you take the exam again and improve your score, the earlier certificate remains on record.
Can I retake an exam to improve my score?
Yes — you can retake either exam as many times as you like, and each attempt produces a new certificate. All versions are stored on your account, so an employer will see your most recent attempt as well as any earlier ones.
Do employers recognise GDS Hub certificates?
We are honest about this: GDS Hub certificates are not formally recognised by airlines or GDS providers. They are educational records from a simulation platform. Many employers use them as supporting evidence when hiring entry-level agents, but they do not replace on-the-job training or vendor certification. See the note on the certificate itself.
What should I do if my certificate details are wrong?
If your name, exam name, or score appears incorrectly on a certificate, contact us with the certificate number and a description of the issue. We will correct and reissue the certificate at no cost.
