Q1: What error appears when I try to send an email?
A: When you attempt to send an email via the Amadeus system to your customer, you may receive this error message:A MESSAGE IS PENDING TO BE SENT
Q2: What causes this error?
A: This error happens when there is a temporary internet connectivity issue at the exact moment you try to send the email.
Because of the connection interruption, the system cannot deliver the email immediately and leaves it in a “pending” state.
The PNR itself is perfectly fine – the problem is purely with the email transmission.
Q3: How do I fix this error?
A: You need to cancel the pending email message that is stuck in the system.
Follow these steps:
- Use the command to cancel the pending message:
>WM/CANCEL - After the pending message is cleared, simply try sending the email again – it should work normally now.
