This error appears when the agent tries to issue the ticket, but the system blocks it.
Reason:
The Fare Basis field inside the TST (Ticket Mask) contains a hyphen “–”.
The Amadeus system does not allow any special characters (such as -, /, *, etc.) in the Fare Basis. Only letters, numbers, and spaces are permitted.
Solution:
Edit the Fare Basis in the TST – remove the hyphen and replace it with a space instead.
Example:
If the Fare Basis is ZLWR-CH1T, change it to ZLWR CH1T.
After this correction, the ticket will issue successfully.
Additional Information:
For more details on editing the TST, refer to: HE TTI
Maximum length for Fare Basis is 15 characters (including spaces).
