How to Retrieve a Past Date Booking in Galileo: PQ/R, Queue & History
Need to access an old Galileo booking after travel has been completed? Galileo allows you to retrieve a Past Date Booking File (PDR) using the record locator. This is useful when checking ticket history, investigating customer inquiries, reviewing changes, or verifying previous booking activity.
Whether you’re a new agent learning the Galileo reservation system or an experienced consultant handling an old customer complaint, these PDR commands will help you locate any completed booking in a few steps.
Requesting a Past Date Booking
Use the booking’s record locator with the following command:

What Happens Next?
The retrieval time depends on the age of the booking and the size of the file.

Retrieving the Booking from Queue
When the booking becomes available, use the following command to display the Past Date queue:

You can also open the first booking directly from Queue 1 Category PD. If multiple bookings are available, Galileo displays a list for selection.
Viewing Booking History
Past date bookings normally do not show active flight segments because travel has already been completed. To investigate changes made to the booking, use the history command:

The history screen is often the most useful part of a past date booking, showing additions, cancellations, ticketing actions, and other modifications.
Important Notes
- Record locators are eventually recycled after old bookings are purged.
- If multiple historical bookings share the same locator, Galileo displays a selection list.
- Past date booking files are available for a maximum of 13 months.
- Files older than 13 months cannot be retrieved.
