What are Sabre queues?

In words queues are like a smart list of things to do for agents.

Why are queues important?

Queues help agents do a lot of things. They help agents keep track of bookings that’re urgent and not urgent. They help agents see when airlines change their schedules. They help agents remember when tickets need to be issued. They help agents manage lists of people waiting for seats and confirmations. They even help agents catch mistakes before they become problems.

Without queues it would be very hard and time consuming to manage all the bookings every day.

Common Sabre queue numbers are used for things.

Here are some of the queues that are used the most:

  • Queue 0 is for bookings that’re urgent, like travel that is happening within 24 hours.
